MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology (MMGA) is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist with expertise in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine to be based at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Our Acute Pain Service is an ever-growing part of our practice, with an emphasis on peripheral nerve and neuraxial catheter placement, improving the patient experience, and minimizing opioid utilization. We have a robust regional anesthesia program, with over 1,200 blocks performed per year for our orthopedic and plastic surgery patients. In addition, the Acute Pain Service implements multimodal analgesia techniques towards the management of our pain protocol patients, with a focus on our spine and transplant surgical population.
