Anesthesiology Opportunities at Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals in Fairfield County, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals are seeking Anesthesiologists to join our long established and growing employed group based in suburban Fairfield County in Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and next to Westchester County in New York. Both day/non-call and call positions are available. Nocturnist schedule also available. Part-time scheduling options will be considered. Per diem options are also available.

With approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs, our group covers a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, stable, established and growing program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Anesthesia. New and recent graduates welcome to apply, including 2026 graduates.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses (10 days CME allowance), and malpractice coverage. Our highly experienced team provides 24/7 coverage at Norwalk, Danbury, New Milford and Sharon Hospitals.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. We are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.

Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York. Norwalk, CT is located along the Long Island Sound. Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. Both locations have highly rated public and private schools and universities. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, our region enjoys proximity to New York City culture and offers many venues for four season outdoor and indoor recreational activities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.
