1099 comp not as advertised? Tired of revolving door management? Administrative meddling? Responsibility without authority? Take ownership of your career path while doing your own cases. Rainier Anesthesia Associates (RAA) seeks hard-working, highly skilled anesthesiologists interested in joining in our stable, successful private practice. New grads welcome. Our mixed provider practice includes employed CRNAs and physicians, as well as equity partner physician owners. CRNAs (employed by RAA) work at hospital locations with oversight from charge anesthesiologist. Physicians are otherwise performing their own cases without needing to supervise CRNAs. RAA staffs 3 hospitals and 7 ASCs in the beautiful south Puget Sound area, offering tremendous variety. RAA physicians receive competitive pay and excellent work-life balance in the unparalleled Pacific Northwest. Water, snow, beaches, mountains, cities, wilderness ... take advantage of it all! RAA prioritizes work/life balance. Our equitable, transparent compensation package incentives available time over production units or on-site hours; thus, there is no financial penalty if a case is canceled or moved to another provider. We find this fosters a truly teamwork-oriented environment, in which everyone benefits by getting cases done in the most logical and efficient manner. An out-of-OR physician facilitator is available on scheduled workdays at our 2 main hospitals. Most practice expenses and benefits are paid "above the line," (including med mal and employee health insurance premium) with a generous retirement package and company match designed to maximize pre-tax deductions. We are primarily seeking anesthesiologists who want to be part of a stable, independent physician owned and operated private practice group. This clinical track physician position provides stable long-term employment, a guaranteed salary and full benefits, without any buy-in or non-clinical administrative expectations. Enjoy the benefits of practicing anesthesia in a variety of settings with interesting cases in an independent practice and go home at the end of the day without the headaches that come with a hospital employed position. Most of our employed physicians have been with RAA for many years. Employed physicians have a wide range of work schedules available to them to customize desired income and work-life balance including partial FTE and no-call/no-weekend schedules. All physicians who take call participate in our daily "peel off," in which they may leave early -- with full daily pay -- based on most recent call assignment. This system applies equally to all call taking physicians: partners, associates and employed physicians. Call is further incentivized on a points basis, as is any "extra" work, such as staying late to finish cases, working holidays and attendance at certain meetings. RAA has limited per diem work available, at $2,500/shift for scheduled clinical hours, M-F 0700-1700. Rarely, per diem physicians may work night and weekend shifts; this is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. We understand it is difficult to know whether a practice is the right "fit," and we are open to offering a per diem position if you want to do a working audition. If interested in this option, please consider scheduling a virtual or in person meeting to discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement.
