UK King's Daughters, a regional healthcare system based in Ashland, KY, is offering outstanding opportunities for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at our Ashland, KY and Portsmouth, OH locations. UK King's Daughters serves a growing patient population of approximately 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers and referrals from 20 area hospitals, the health system is experiencing tremendous growth. CRNAs are employed by the health system and will join a team of 20+ CRNAs. Currently, UK King's Daughters is offering a $25,000 signing bonus and up to $50,000 in student loan repayment for any CRNA who signs on with our health system. CRNAs will receive a salary of $250,000, extra pay for call, additional pay for working over, an increased pay rate for weekends, excellent benefits, paid malpractice, 272 hours of vacation, one week off for CME, $1,500 for CME expenses per year, 401a/403b/457 retirement plans, and relatively infrequent call responsibilities. CRNAs are also eligible for annual raises and team member incentive bonuses. The Anesthesia care team model is medical supervision. The types of surgical cases include Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy, OB, Bariatric Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, and Neurosurgery. Ashland, KY is a town with a population of about 25,000 people, located along the Ohio River. We have a nice, clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, indoor tennis center, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping. Our Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family friendly communities with an excellent cost of living. We also have some of the country's finest state parks and other outdoor areas that feature golf, boating, fishing, hunting and biking. We have four seasons, all of which are relatively mild. We're also a short drive to metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville). We are also located about 20 minutes from Huntington, WV and Marshall University. Additionally, about two hours away in West Virginia, there is excellent snow skiing and the New River Gorge National Park, which offers multiple outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing and hiking.
