The Pediatric Division of the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine is uniquely dedicated to the care of pediatric patients, providing anesthesia services at St. Louis Children's Hospital, Shriner's Hospital for Children, and two pediatric exclusive ambulatory surgery centers. The clinical experience of the CRNA is wide-ranged and diverse. Patients range from fresh newborns to young adults. All pediatric surgical subspecialties are well represented including general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and dental/oral surgery. In addition, anesthesia care of patients for bronchoscopy, GI endoscopy, cardiac catheterization procedures, MR-imaging, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, oncology, neurology, and other medical subspecialties is also an integral part of the clinical practice. A CRNA position working approximately 40 hours per week working M-F, with 8s/9s/10s as shift options. NO call, no weekends, few holiday requirements and the option to supplement one's total compensation with moonlighting opportunities.
