Money Magazine, Town & Country, and CNN Money are among other publications that have ranked Carmel the top place to live in the U.S. Many of the facilities that our group serves are located in Carmel, IN. Other Indianapolis suburbs such as Fishers and Zionsville are also often ranked among the best places to live in America. Furthermore, The White Coat Investor, a personal finance publication geared toward physicians, routinely ranks Indiana among the best places to practice medicine due to its asset protection advantages, favorable malpractice environment (tort reform), high median income levels, and affordability. Specifically, Indiana offers a cap on total malpractice damages not much higher than most insurance policies; a pre-litigation panel; and 100% protection for retirement accounts, insurance, annuities, and HSA. These attributes make Indianapolis and its suburbs among the very best places to live and practice medicine in America.
