  • The Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs, 1 EP lab & NORA cases, in a specialty adult 72 bed facility. Surgeons are exceptionally caring with great outcomes. Professional autonomy, within a team model in an award-winning hospital, is another aspect which makes our practice special. We have close & collaborative working relationships within our anesthesia team, with our surgeons, and with hospital staff. We work hard to provide excellent care of our high acuity patients. Schedule No call, weekends, holidays. We do not have shifts, but use a "peel/waterfall" integrated staffing model resulting in some shorter, some longer days.   • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
