The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level who is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching activities, and professional development. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky/Kentucky Children's Hospital is growing. We are seeking board certified pediatric anesthesiologists to join our collegial group as we grow to meet the needs of the children of the Commonwealth. Kentucky Children's Hospital, a children's hospital within a major academic medical center, offers state of the art facilities, including our pediatric sedation and procedure unit, level 4 neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. Every pediatric surgical subspecialty is represented, and the acuity level of our patients is high. Kentucky Children's Hospital is a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center. The Department of Anesthesiology and the Division are well respected within the Medical Center and UK Healthcare has consistently been recognized as the number one hospital in Kentucky by US News and World Report. The Department is financially supported by the enterprise. Salary and benefits are well above average and are commensurate with training and experience.
